Forbidden Root - Chicago

I tried this beer at the brewery in Columbus as part of their "The FR" five sample flight. It poured a clear golden with white head that left a spotty lace. The scent had hints of grain, grass and earth. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crystal malt base and floral grass presence and mild peat highlights. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.
