I tried this on tap at Chatty Monks, served chilled in a glass.
The color is black with opaque clarity and thick creamy pale head with fine bead and film of lace sticks. The smell is malty with chocolate malt aroma with slight yeast presence and light coffee-like odor. The feel has a creamy smooth body with sweet lactose texture and nitro giving a whipped impression fluffy and light with semi-sweet finish.
The taste has a rich roasted with creamy lactose flavor and mild chocolate as the icing on the theoretical cake with a mild woody tinge of hops and light caramel in the flavor as it finishes semi-sweet. This is a very good sweet stout for the style -not much in the way of flaws a very drinkable milk stout.
