Got this one from the De Moersleutel webshop. Cheers!
From a 33cl can into a snifter
Best Before 31 March 2022
Collaboration with De Moersleutel
APPEARANCE: Pours a small, foamy white head with lousy retention. Head quickly vanishes leaving just a light ring. Clear gamboge orange in color with no carbonation evident.
SMELL: Bold nose of hay, spicy alcohol, herbal notes, some caramel and bubble gum on the nose. Plenty of strength.
TASTE: Caramel sweetness, some bubble gum, biscuit flavors, some hay, spicy notes and some alcohol at the swallow. Plenty of flavor at the swallow with caramel sweetness, bubble gum, ripe pears, hay, and some spicy alcohol linger on the palate. Flavorful with a bit of alcohol lingering.
PALATE: Medium body and medium carbonation. A little light on the palate, goes down fine with a bit of a burn and finishes a touch mouth-coating. Some heat lingers.
OVERALL: This one is officially expired, but there’s no reason to take that baloney seriously. Still really good with lots of character on this one. It’s sweet and boozy, but that’s what barelywines are made for. Check it out if you can. Cheers.
