A: Neon lemon yellow, very cloudy with tones of yeast sediment, including some dark brown chunks. A fair amount of fine bubbled carbonation hard to see due to the sediment. A five finger head of white slows to a finger on the second pour which emptied the can.
S: Fruity, lemons and peaches, cloves and a light smoke.
T: Cloves up front, a hint of sweetened lemon, centered on the unmistakable taste of yeasty wit bier Belgian excellence, corn and an unfortunate hint of rust on the end.
M: Thick almost chunky body, light fine bubbled carbonation.
O: Enjoying this brew I found at Carrefour, Kunming. Drank Jan 5th, 2015. It was a good deal, and holds its own for the style.

Found this in a grocery store in Shanghai China and it took me a little while to figure out who actually brews this/ Found it by matching Bocholt Belgium (the beers listed brewing site) to the "since 1758" on the label. Yep it's a sub-brand of Martens.
A: The beer is a hazy light gold. Nothing really stands out. Head is pretty much pure white and foamy.
S: Faint smell but many of the basic characteristics are there.
T: Watery with traces of bubble gum, bread, and citrus.
Overall, a watered down (literally?) version of a weizen beer for an international market that probably doesn't know any better. According to their website (currently under construction) they are coming out with a dark beer and a pilsener as well. If they're anything like this one it's sure to disappoint. Avoid.
