The pour is amber, sweet malt smell. A friend brought it by the house for a cooking ingredient. However, the beet was actually nice by itself. I went back to Aldi and bought a 6pack to give it another taste. Being an IPA guy, I never thought this type of beer would be a "buy" but I like it. Give it a shot...at 7 bucks, it is worth it with pork or beef. Better pairing than IPA.

Pours a clear, light Ruby Red with a one-finger, white head. A little carbonation.
Nose has malt and slight bakers chocolate.
A sweeter malt bill with a little more hop than most ambers. Slight candied sweetness. I like it.
Thin mouthfeel.

This is dark amber slightly red beer with a frothy head. It is unpleasant on the nose, smelling something is apples that have gone bad. The taste is still appley but it is balanced out by the caramely tasting malts and some hops. The mouthfeel is decent. It is somewhat thick with some bubbles. This is a somewhat disappointing beer.

From the bottle, it pours a nice clear amber color with a modest head that lasts a while. In the nose, it is malty. In the mouth, the same. Decent overall, nothing spectacular.

Dark amber to chestnut with 2 finger head that quickly reduces. Toasty malt with apple juice, caramel. Flavor follows. Very thin, empty mouthfeel. Moderate carbonation.

This 11.2 oz. bottle was poured into a pint glass. The beer is a darker amber, clear, with light carbonation. There is a full inch plus of slightly tan foam that slowly settled to a thin cap with nice lacing.
The aroma is mostly the bread malts and a little sweetness.
The flavor is slightly sweet caramel with the right amount of light bitterness to finish the sip.
The feel is a little on the thin side.
Overall this is an OK beer, nothing special, but nothing to offend, an easy one to drink.

6/9/19 (Chicago): Gift 11.2 oz bottle, best by 9/27/19 date. poured into nonic glass. Clear amber colour pour, mild carbonation, light soapy head leaves light lacing. Strong and pleasant malt aroma on the sweet side. Light malt taste, somewhat sweet, light hops backs the malt, nice bread taste. Carbonation holds well, clean and crisp mouth feel, easy drinking. Overall nice pour, thanks for the beer Artur!

Exceptional beer from Aldi's, nice flavor, sweet smell, BIG head, looks beautiful and light in amber color.
$6.49/6 pack seems like a nice price for this one!

Bought this at Aldi in Orange Park, FL. It is quite an impressive beer for the price and I liked it a lot.
L - Pours a nice dark amber with a huge white head that dissipates quickly.
S - Clean and sweet.
T - Malty and sweet with a unique deep-roasted finish. Plenty of complexity with nothing offensive or off in the taste. Quite pleasant. Very drinkable.
F - Moderate fizzy bite and just thick enough, not thin or watery.
O - I think I could make this a “go to” brew. The price and taste are not very much different than one of my favorite inexpensive craft lagers, Fulton Standard (from Minneapolis). This is a high quality, low-cost beer that holds its own and is in all respects light years better than any AAL on the shelf. Cheers, my fellow Aldi shoppers!

This is my first try at an Aldis brew. I like Fat Tire, so I thought "Hey, why not try a Belgian Ale from, where else, Belgium." I don't think it is has quite the same rich mouth feel as Fat Tire, not as smooth or rich. Maybe a little more sharp but with a certain sweet bitterness. If that makes sense. I like it. Especially for almost $4.00 less than a sixer of Fat Tire. Funny thing, when I was n the checkout, the lady in front of me turns around and say "Hey, Im from Belgium and this stuff is good!" So, I was excited to give it a try and I'm glad I did.

Purchased at Aldi's in Oklahoma City. Poured from a 12 oz. glass bottle into a glass.
Big off-white fluffy head on top of a clear dark amber liquid. Decent aroma. Flavor is heavy on the malt, with some hops and some very subtle spices. Some toasty and nutty notes.
I think this is intended to be a clone of a Fat Tire, and I think they have succeeded in this mission. Quite good for the price ($6.49/six pack)

This beer was purchased at Aldi’s. When poured into a pint glass it formed a 1-1/2” head that dissipated some. Lacing down the glass. The beer has a faint bitterness, but lacks some of the flavor I get from other premium Belgian beers.
