It is dark for a blonde ale but otherwise isn't bad. While heavily carbonated the head retention isn't stellar. The smell is very intriguing: spicy and full of pleasant esters. The taste is likewise appealing. Lots of esters with some hint of phenols. The malt and hops complement each other well. The carbonation is high without but too high, just getting to that point. This carbonation adds well to the beer as a whole. Overall this is a good beer.

Picked up at Aldi’s for 6.99 a six pak. Popping the top the bottle description is spot on citrus and malty waft. Taste is also like it says very creamy. Nice sweetness with a tinge of bitters. This is a great drinker and at the price pint I can drink it all day long.

Aroma is malts, mild bubblegum and Belgian yeast. The flavor is malts, mild fruit, bubblegum/bananas and a mix grainy and Belgian yeast/slight heat in the finish.

Hmmm. I guess I will be the only guy here to really like this beer? Bought a 6 pack last night from Aldi. Drank them in a pilsner glass. Pours a golden orange color with minimal head. No real lace left behind to speak of. Smells of clove, fruit and a background of spice. First taste is Fruit and spice. A nice smooth finish. Excellent body and no alcohol taste that I can detect. Better as it warms up in all honesty. I find it a really good session beer myself.

Solid beer. Pours a hazy orange with a fluffy yellowish head. Smell is faint apricot. Taste is more complex than the smell, with lots of stone fruit and a mineral tang at the end. Full mouthfeel, not too fizzy. One of the better Aldi imports, definitely worth grabbing if you see it.

Pours a clear straw yellow into to the glass with a medium-sized, persistent head. Aroma is minimal, a big disappointment for this type of ale. Taste reveals a little clove but not much else. A good Belgian blonde should be exploding with banana, candy and other notes -- this beer lacks all of that. It does have a nice body and delivers on a well-concealed alcohol content. Overall an OK beer that pales in the presence of La Fin du Monde or even Leffe.

Good clean taste, really surprised by this at Aldi. I enjoyed it as a strong Belgian blonde.
