Postavaru - Pure Blonde

From Belgium according to the label...no idea what "Postavaru" is or means, but there is a picture of a goat, so maybe it's a goat. Previously I had "Lup" from the same brewer, which was a pretty refreshing pilsner, and I gave it a reasonably good score.

Appearence isn't the best. Head is a little unbalanced and very low. Colour is fairly orange. Aroma is light, with a "hop extract" type of aroma.

Quite a sweet, complex flavour. Very sweet actually. Just a hint of hops. Fairly simple mouth feel, with a few interesting flavours and sensations that morph on the tongue within the sweetness. Tastes better from the bottle, as it goes rather flat in the glass very fast.

Flavours are predominantly sweet malt with some honey perhaps. Needs lots more hops.

I much preferred the Lup, which is more bitter and less sweet.
