Imported from Belgium it claims on the label. Contains maize and real hops.
Malty, alcohol, slightly chemically aroma as opposed to a hoppy aroma. Mega large bubbles, ok head.
Taste is much better and actually has some Belgian quite complex malt elements. Hops are rather hidden. Unfortunately the alcohol flavour is rather prominent and it tastes more like 10% than 5.4. I'm not a fan of lagers with an overt malt taste in comparison to the hops. I prefer the malt taste in dark beers. Corn adds some interesting flavours. But rather harsh taste and not great. Tastes like 15% actually.
With "Belgium" in the name and when it says "Brewed by Belgian Excellence" on the can, it's a pretty obvious sign that it isn't brewed by anyone excellent and is trying to overtly sell itself, not a good sign.
