Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a soft pale burnt orange color with a film of a little white head. Mild lace. The aroma seemed to bring the sweet to the tart of strawberries and mangoes with some sweet to bitter grassy hops. Extra little burst of some lemon bitter rind. The flavor blended fairly nice between the sweet and the tart of the previously mentioned fruits. Light banana sweet creaminess came out underneath. Mildly hits in the aftertaste. Sweet creamy sort of strawberry finish. The feel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate. Overall, I dig the idea of taking an old style and modernizing it a bit. Good job, Dan! Hoping you bottle this!
