Pint can opened on 6/13/19
It's a classic NEIPA look with golden hazy color, or perhaps pineapple juice!
Opaque haze gives the golden color that "white out" appearance. Pure white foam cap settles down to a solid ring and sticky lace.
The aromatics are spot-on!
Spicy and peppery pineapple/citrus hoppy blend...earthy and fruity. The hops also give off a Pine sap and creamy mango effect . Golden grains and dry wheat from the malt side.
The flavor is extremely CLEAN. Spring water freshness in both tasted and felt.
Crunchy dry earthiness, peppery citrus, pithy stone fruit and an herbal pineapple thing pops out of the hop complexity, which is pretty deep. The malt is light, snappy golden and grainy earthiness adds a crazy good balance.
A light and crispy mouthfeel at first, them medium bodied as the dry, yet juicy aspect takes over. Crazy crushable for such a complex NEIPA.
My first experience with Simple Roots and it sure is a good one. What is in the water up there in the Burlington, VT area??!!

4.25? Ridiculous. This is a near perfect New England IPA. Visually gorgeous. Nose is about average but feel and taste are up there with the best of them. Hazy, lovely...taste is wonderful, mild hops and endless tropical fruit. I wouldn't tire of this for a long time. Every bit as good as Tree House Julius or Green.

16 oz can into IPA glass. No date.
Look is great hazy with a golden orange hue. Smell is sweet citrus fruit. Taste follows nose. Sweet tropical fruit on top a little grapefruit bite at end as it warms. Feel is medium and creamy. Overall a very good NE IPA that I would definitely drink again.

Look - Hazy. Leaves a beautiful lacing around a Fiddlehead tulip glass.
Smell - Light, sweet, fruity.
Taste - Smooth and not too bitter (in a good way). I get some orange, a little mango. There is a very noticeable lack of "hop burn" which makes this a very sessionable IPA. There is little to no alcohol noticed which makes this a dangerously easy ale to enjoy! Could easily drink 3 of these in one session, but then would most likely fall into a deep sleep lol.
Feel - Creamy, very drinkable.

Pours an ever so-slightly hazed gold with a pinky of pear colored head. Underwhelming head retention& lacing
S: Tons of citrus, alittle mango & breadyness
T: Sweet oranges, dryness, a little breadyness up front. A touch of pink grapefruit & tangerine, mango & dryness as this warms. Finishes juicy & bready
MF: Medium body, subdued carbonation, stellar balance
Really enjoyed this one. If every aspect matched the taste, this would be world class. Would easily buy this if in my neck of the woods

4-pack purchased from Healthy Living in Burlington...not sure the price, but not too expensive. Shows up a hazy bright-orange with two fingers of a fine head that dissipates to a ring, with just a little lace. Nice blend of fairly typical hop aromas. Nice clean taste and finish. Feel is medium-body and clean, with fairly low carbonation. Overall, a really good NEIPA and the best Simple Roots beer I've tried.

Pours a cloudy whitish-blonde hue with a thin head into my glass. Orange and mango haze in the nose. Crisp, tart citrus delivery followed with lip puckering bitterness. Clean citrus finish. Quite a treat on a warm June evening.
