On tap at the brewery.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a cloudy/murky orange to bronzed copper color with a white sheet of foamy head. Moderate dissipation left some sticky messy lace.
The aroma had a soft juicy sweet bouquet of tropical fruits intertwining wonderfully to lay over top of a light sweet creaminess.
The flavor marked the sweet juicy tropical fruits as the leader in the taste and then some of that creaminess slides in nicely to distract some of the hoppy bitterness that tried to come out. Mostly sweet tropical fruits in the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel carried a soft juicy sweet lips smacking stickiness but not cloying over a medium bodied sort of feel. Carbonation felt nice and low as expected. ABV felt fine. Smooth juicy tropical sticky sort of finish.
Overall, very nicely done New England styled IPA. Certainly glad to write this up here in hopes of more people checking out Simple Roots. Thanks Dan!
