Can to tulip.
The appearance was a ruddy burnt orange color with plenty of white foamy head about a finger's worth taking it's time to dissipate.
The aroma smelled like orange cream, pretty spot on! Quaint and nice pulling some juicy sweet citrusy bittersweet hops to the creamy sweet malts. I'm quite impressed!
The flavor seems a bit pulled back from the aroma. Don't get me wrong, it still brings in all of the prior mentioned aromas but there seems to be a bit more bitterness than expected. Mostly a well balanced aftertaste of orange cream.
The mouthfeel was slightly sticky and sat about medium bodied with a good sipping quality about it. Low carbonation with a very nice smooth creaminess somewhat clinging to my tongue. Finishes with some grassy hops and orange creaminess.
Overall, wow! Where did this come from! I always knew Simple Roots had it in them but hey this is extremely well done. That aroma speaks volumes!
