Can. Near black with dense lasting head. Looks almost like nitro at first. Cocoa chocolate chocolate chip cookie dough aroma with a hint of maple syrup and fig. Light sweetness light chocolate and fig with very dry finish perhaps a hint more bitter than it needs to be but still delicious. Light creamy body. Great American/robust-style session porter.

 

 

Malty, easy to drink, sippable, what I look for in a simple porter. Would drink again.

My first Simple Roots brew. Dark brown, tan foam head, smooth silky mouthfeel. Deep roasty quality with chocolate notes, and a slight hop bitterness in the finish. Really solid American porter.
