Can to becher pint glass.
The appearance was a moderately yellow silky cloudy color topped by a small sheet of white foamy head. This fell off to leave some modest lace concaving here and there.
The aroma had an absolutely amazing blend of sweet pineapple, lemongrass, pulled pine needle sweetness and a super light tone of clean malts.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side initially but developed a keen balance investing slightly in the bitter piney side. Mellow aftertaste of pineapple, lemongrass, piney bitterness and a touch of woodiness.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Nice low key carbonation moving along my tongue. An ever so slight touch of dry needle-like involvement strolling along. Finishes slightly crisp with a touch of melded lemongrass to orange pith.
Overall, this brewery is one of the reasons why I don't take the two hour trip to Hill Farmstead like I used to. Keep crankin' them awesome beers out, Dan and company!
