I dont like breweries that serve Natty Light and too many TV's. It felt like a sports bar

It's a Friday evening in March and the lot's nearly full,; it looks promising. Sadly, it wasn't. I walk in to a scaled replica car that children are climbing on. As a parent, I see an accident waiting to happen. Next is a massive retail merchandise area. So it's a beer theme park, I guess. I make it to the bar, take a seat and watch as 3 Yuengling and 2 Miller Lites are poured before one of their many house beers. That's another red flag. Oh, and the tap handles are on the back wall so I get to look at the server's backs during my visit. How quaint. I took 3 of their beers (reviews are posted) and some food, none of which were "good". My beer reviews, so not to be a killer, are kind.
The place itself is an oversized echo chamber. It's uncomfortably loud with lots of TVs. There's beer hall style seating in the barroom/warehouse space.
I rated the vibe a 3 because I met a couple of friendly patrons at the bar. That offsets the cavern atmosphere well enough, I figure.
Getting back to the servers/ bartenders: they spent more time amongst each other and with their cell phones than they did with the customers.
This joint is nothing more than a contrived gimmicky money grab built around a beer theme. It's "crafty", all right.

Pretty big on the inside, typical beach bar atmosphere. Overall the beers were pretty average and the atmosphere is more for beach tourists than craft beer drinkers.

They have a ton of decent beers. Nothing spectacular but pretty good. A bunch of TV's and sports on, The food is expensive and so so. The atmosphere is pretty good.

Stumbled on this place while on the bus going up and down Coastal Highway in Ocean City, MD. We walked in and the owners mother greeted up warmly and spoke at length with myself and wife. She told us a little history and got us on the tour, first taking us up to the bar and getting the tender, Kelly, to set us up with drinks and nachos before the tour.
The place is just now coming up on a year old but they really seem to know how to please, the tour was great, entertaining and informative, and allowed us to talk freely and ask many questions. The head brewer was working and stopped and chatted with us for a few minutes. An absolute pleasant afternoon!!!
After the tour, Kelly, had held a spot for us at the bar (wasn't crowded) while I enjoyed a few flights of their brews. Kelly was very informative and knew her stuff when it came to the beers and different styles.

First appearance pulling into the parking lot: The outside of the building is plastered with posters of their different beers. It makes it look like a cheap liquor store.
As soon as you walk in, you walk in to a MASSIVE retail area. The retail area is roughly the same size as their bar area and features anything and everything they could stick their logo on (growlers, key chains, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts...). The selection of clothing rivaled that of many clothing stores. The initial impression is that they are only concerned with making money.
The beers: One word: AWFUL. All the beers I tried (9) were all poorly attenuated. The hoppy beers were more malty than hoppy and their IPAs had no detectable hop aroma. I tried all 3 light lagers they had on tap and they all tasted and smelled like cooked corn.
I will never come back to this place.

First time here and in December wasn't to crowded at all. Decent beer selection and food menu looked good but I just had some chicken tender apps.
I had the Rt 50 APA which was pretty good.
Now the reason I gave the score
They refused to give samples you had to buy the sampler flight
I have never been to a micro brewery that didn't give you a free taste so u can decide.
Remember it's middle of December at the ocean on a Wednesday with 10 people at the bar. Not to let people try/sample the beer on the extensive beer list
Is pretty disappointing.

I visited this place on a weekend trip to Ocean City with family. The place was not crowded since we came for lunch and it resembles a cafeteria with gift shop as you enter. The selection was pretty standard -I tried a Wit and the food was satisfactory. I would come back if they are still open but not go out of my way to visit.
