White foam, made up of tiny bubbles, forms a tall, compact and durable structure. It leaves no marks on the glass.
Sour, juicy, lemony aroma with notes of hard candy and sour fruit jelly beans. Malty accents in the background.
The flavour is sour and lemony with a fairly distinct salty note. The finish is delicately bitter.
Medium carbonation. Medium body. Fairly smooth texture. The aftertaste is long, salty and sour at the same time.

Shared bottle at local tasting, as Oedipus Salty Dick. Pale straw colour, small white head. Sourish and salty aroma. Sour flavour with lemony and lactic notes. Moderate salt. Not my cup of tea.

so sick to see some beer from these guys distributed in the states, they positively slay, and it was rad to find this, a fruity gose, but malty and salty both, more grain than most of these have, but also clean on the lactic front and the ferment, so kind of uncommon in that regard, very dynamic brew, just tart enough, extremely refreshing, european flare exists here too somehow. its clear enough but a little deeper in color than most, saline, but also herbal and fruity, plenty of tang, earthiness, and grapefruit and orange type character, a touch hoppy too. i like the yeast esters, the depth of flavor for simple ingredients, the malt choice, and the fact that i even get to drink some beer from these cats over here in the northwest, did not know it was possible until now. lime and hops, salt and deep grain, clean ferment, just a nice profile for this sort of thing and nice and low alcohol for summer weather. i wish a single bottle wasnt six bucks, a little prohibitive that way, but a banger of a beer i would happily make a day of. these guys kill it and its awesome to see their beer for sale here, hopefully more to come...

Merry label, smells of lemon and a touch of bubblegum, flavored with lime and creamy sugar stream and a pleasant salt tone that complement all tastes; Bought at Hopdonders

Hazy pale color with white head. Aroma has lemon tartness, some sauerkraut but also some nice hoppy notes. Taste is quite briney, lemony, some grapefruit bitterness in the background and a hoppy freshness on the finish. Medium body, soft mouthfeel. Overall it's a quite good gose, salty and hoppy.

A: poured from a 330 mL bottle into a glass, golden with very little white head, very cloudy

S: citrus, heavy lemon and lime, pineapple, like a West Coast IPA

T: salty up front with a blast of lemon bitterness, tart citrus fruits, orange, lime

M: thin with low carbonation

O: really surprised by the awsome aroma of this beer, taste was excellent

Enjoyed at Cafe Gollem on Amstelstraat in Amsterdam. On tap poured into a snifter.

L- A nice cloudy yellow with thin white, quickly dissipating head
S- Lemony and citrusy, very pungent and sour
T- Passion fruit like tartness and citrus. Not a lot of salinity but very refreshing.
F- Good carb, goes down easy
O- A very nice offering from Oedipus. This may be the first gose from Holland and they are very new to this style. As a result, it's not the most traditional with a distinct lack of salt. Really enjoyed this one
