Amber-copper colour, slightly cloudy. Medium-high white head, reasonably persistent.
Sweet aroma of caramel, sweet fruit and distinct resin.
The first and subsequent sips bring caramel sweetness with lots of fruit, unfortunately also sweet, the resin is so weak that it is unable to balance the excessive sweetness.
The bitterness seems to be lower than the declared 30 IBU, short and fruity. High carbonation, which I personally find disturbing.

BOTTLE from a Liquorland in Hamilton, New Zealand. $3 NZD on clearance.
Direly overhopped for a steam beer, but it makes for a nice enough pseudo-IPL (IPA? call it a cross fermented hoppy beer I guess).
C+ / ABOVE AVERAGE

Full Toasted malts, little fruity, not much hop bitterness. According to stile, I guess. Malt forward session beer. Nothing to get excited about. Everyday kind of beer
