Very enjoyable bockbier of the Dutch style. Caramel and thankfully not too sweet. Interesting was a deep earthy character like from a heavy red wine. Or did the label play a trick on my tastebuds?

On draught at Arendsnest, appearance is clear brown with a small tan head.
Smell is caramel, brown sugar and spice, almost like sasparilla, nice.
Taste very mild and not sweet at all, faintest hint of grape, root beer. Light caramel finish, clean.
Mouthfeel is light and dry.
Drinakability is pretty good, quaffable but boring.
