Copenhagen 13/1 2019. 33 cl bottle from Brønshøj Vinhandel. Very campy label which looks like a bad commercial from the eighties. Apparently this is a Solar Session IPA and a great beer to drink while running naked on the beach.
Pours hazy pale yellow with very big white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin but frothy layer of foam barely managing to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the ides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is balanced between sweet tropical fruits like mango, peach and papaya and citrus fruits like lime with hints of Grape fruit. Acerbic. The sour acidic side clearly winning out.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery and lively texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Fine fresh beer - But I (barely) managed to keep my clothes on.

Plenty of white foam that is dying rather quickly. Opaque but no floatsam and jetsam in this tropical session IPA.
The aroma is the star of this beer with plenty of sweet ripe mango, papaya and pineapple, truly like a fruit juice
Taste is fruity too with a clean (not abrasive) strong bitterness, sweetness is there but not too much. Fruit juice with hops
smooth body and incredibly full for such a low abv
Probably the best session (New England style) IPA that I ever had. This brewery has not released such a great beer for some time. Thumbs up for this summer
