Nice dark brown look, with a red amber hue and a good head of foam. Smell of roasted malts, hops, biscuit (hence the name I guess, it did not refind lost time however) and, for some reason, bison grass. These flavours return in the taste, which has a dry earthy profile. It's an interesting beer, but i can't really call this a herfstbok, even though it claims to be one.
