Deep gold, lighter than expected, clear with lots of carbonation. Looks very inviting. Vinous aroma, plus notes of apple and grapefruit, fairly sweet. Also some interesting spiciness that is somewhat peppery although I can't quite make it out.
The flavor is sweet and cider-like, with a cookie malt sweetness. I also get a bit of corn in there. The only hint of tartness is lost somewhere in the finish. To me the sweetness is a bit cloying. The mouthfeel is thin with a light syrup feel. Carbonation is a little faint.
It was great to try such a unique beer, but it definitely wasn't for me. I'm looking for more sour in a Flanders beer and this was very sweet. If that sounds good to you that seek it out...

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
