2007 Edition.
Orange hazy appearance, not so whitefoam, decent.
In the smell malt, candy sugar, some ripe fruit, pomegranate. Some spices. Cardamom and ginger.
Definitely sweet in mouth, a lot of spice, cardamom, and some pepper, that makes it almost drinkable.
Again honey notes, orange peel, cinnamon.
In the aftertaste candy sugar, with ripe fruit touches and spices.

From cervezasespeciales. In La Trappe chalice. Watching Sons of Anarchy. Fruity. Enjoyable. Not the typical christmas beer. More like a tropical dipa

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle.

2008 edition. The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is citrus fruit, bread and toffee. The flavor is Belgian yeast, orange citrus and some very sugary syrup notes. Very sweet. There is little or no detectable alcohol, despite the beer clocking in at 9 percent. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

2008 edition. Mixed feelings on this, poureda lot of yeasty foam and had good aromas of fruity yeast and some spices. However the fragments of reddish pieces were disconcerting. Creamy mouthfeel. Drinkable, strong, above average carbonation. Some lemon.

Bottle: Poured a hazy dirty amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of candi sugar with typical Belgian malt base. Taste is a bit heavy ion the candi sugar with a solid malt base though nothing that really stands out. Body is quite full with limited filtration and good carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Well done though hardly stands out from the packs of Belgian Strong ales
