This is not the Vicaris Kerstbier from the same brewery. I acquired a bottle of this from a friend in Ghent, Belgium. Served into a Braven Apostel goblet in me friend's gaff in Ghent. Reviewed from notes.

A: Pours a two finger head of lovely cream, decent thickness, and fair retention. Black colour.

Sm: Hoppy body. Caramel. Vanilla?

T: Hoppy notes of the nose are nicely balanced but can't cover up the overabundance of alcohol. Creamy and subtle. Complex. Nicely built, with a near-refreshing finish - an impressive feat for such a high ABV beer.

Mf: Smooth and nicely wet.

Dr: Nothing special, but a nice beer at an affordable price (in Belgium!). Give it a go, lads.
