Had on nitro at 40F at Lucky's and likely even better on cask at 50F at the brewery.

On nitro tap at MacLeod Ale Brewing Company in Van Nuys, CA.
Pours a clear dark orange-brown with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, caramel, citrus zest, and earth aromas. Taste is much the same with toast, caramel, earth, and citrus zest flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with a great mix of toast, caramel, and citrus zest characteristics.
Serving type: on nitro tap.
