On cask at MacLeod Ale Brewing Company in Van Nuys, CA.
Pours a hazy orange with a foamy off-white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, citrus fruit, citrus juice, and citrus zest aromas. Taste is much the same with grain, corn flake, and citrus zest flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that has a nice mix of grain and citrus forward hop qualities all around.
