Pours dark brown - black. Light brown head. Lacing remains where head formed. Aroma is a fresh pile of pine needles with hints of roast. Taste is very similar - it's strong, but not overpowering - BLACK IPA LOVERS REJOICE! (I sense a tiny bit of citrus coming through as well.) I'd guess this is hitting upwards of the 90 IBU range - but it doesn't linger too long. Feel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Overall, a black IPA that you can't let pass under the radar.
