Brown in color which is odd for an IPA. There's a fingernail of off white resting on top. The aroma is brazen citrus and tangerine and it just throttles the light malt into submission. The taste is a bit more balanced but the citrus hops are still the dominant player. I'm getting some light malt in the fade, though. The mouth is very resinous and lightly chalky.

Poured from a can with a best by date of 4/6/17; into a pub glass.
Appearance- a cloudy orange with little carbonation and very thin white head. Lacing is decent.
Smell - sweet aroma that teams a nice collaboration of pine, herb, floral hops and caramel!
Taste - surprisingly more juicy fruit hop profile compared to the hops in the nose; the sweet caramel backbone balances this beer out beautifully!
Feel - superb hop to malt ratio with a bitter forward feel and a sweet, yet tame supporting cast!
Overall - didn't expect to like this as much as I do. Definitely a balanced Colorado style IPA, but enough hop dominance to keep it tilted in my favor; complex for an IPA!

Very solid west coast IPA. Lighter on the nose and the hop finish, making it a very drinkable IPA. Solid IPA but not in the WOW category, which is probably what they wanted to achieve.

Great looking beer. Nose is a little light relative to most IPAs as is the taste, but I'll like balance in a beers taste and this one delivers. The feel isn't resiny and has a cleaner finish than most.
