I got a can of this beer from my bestie from Charlotte, NC whom got it from a beer of the month club mixed pack. It poured a hazy golden with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had subtle dank tropical citrus fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright sweet malt base with tart citrus presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a good beer.

This was really yummy actually and a really good first impression from Living The Dream. The citrus and pine flavor is bursting and sticky. Super solid for sure

12 fl oz pull-tab can:
Canned 03/30/20.
"Imperial India Pale Ale." 8.1% ABV. Brewed with "Citra, Mosaic, El Dorado, Calypso, Simcoe, and Columbus."
Alcohol warmth kills it for me, but the hop profile isn't great to begin with despite the brewers picking varietals that together might've been terrific.
D+ / NOT RECOMMENDED

05/01/20 another can:
BODY: Somewhat vibrant copper. No lees visible within.
HEAD: Thin white cobwebby lacing.
AROMA: Pale malt/golden malt/2-row sweetness. Floral hop aromatics. Citrus on the back end - candied tangerine, mango. Faint pear from the Calypso and/or El Dorado.
No oniony, garlicky, or yogurty notes from the Simcoe. No subtle blueberry from the Mosaic.
Aroma suggests a beer that doesn't fully exploit the potential of its chosen hop varietals but is nevertheless drinkable despite some obvious alcohol warmth.
TASTE: Crisp pear. Floral hop flavours. Candied citrus (tangerine/mango). Pale malt sweetness. Obvious alcohol warmth...it's very boozy for its scant 8.1% ABV.
OVERALL: The point of an imperial IPA is to push hop varietals to their fullest and really dig into bold hop flavours while upping ABV and keeping balance in place...this fails to do any of that. Citra and Mosaic are so often great in combination (hell, even mediocre breweries like Eddyline have managed to make them work) but I get very little flavour from either hop varietal in this beer. Simcoe is equally wasted on this mediocre IIPA, and the hop flavours that do surface - pear and generic floral flavours, primarily - aren't very interesting or effective.
They'd been better off playing with less hop varietals and drawing out more depth of flavour from them.
