This an abrasive American barleywine and I'm digging it. Intense caramel, aggressive oak, strong whiskey, and pithy hops are lightly punctuated by vanilla and dates. Not subtle just damn good.

I thought this was excellent especially if you're into barrel aged offerings, if you're into raisin, fig, prune, date with wood flavors I highly recommend this offering. It's pricey but most barleywine will be
