Very light fruit sweetness pops its head early, hints here-and-there of some tartness and a bit of yeasty spice. Saving grace is the pretty tasty nut presence. Noticeably watery on the palate, disappointing.

Unsure about this - the nuts make a welcome appearance but quite watery in mouth esp for ABV

Billed as a hoppy, dark Belgian-style ale. The flagship beer from BentSpoke Brewing Co.
Pours a clear, dark mahogany colour with a smooth, creamy tan head. Good head retention.
Moderately light citrussy hop aroma. Interesting toffeed malt notes.
Moderately sweet malt. Touches of tartness fromt he malt and the hops. Quite refreshing and nicely balanced.
Medium body with moderately-high carbonation.
I really quite like this. The hoppy Belgian concept really works well and leads to an interesting beer.
