An easy drinking Canberra pale ale with a subtle hop aroma. Cloudy but fine. Hops: Ekuanot, Mosaic

Received in September 2022, drunk in March 2023.

L: light orange-yellow with a quickly disappearing head. A small amount of carbonation is evident in the glass.

S: A clean aroma with a light, fruity note.

T: A fruity, almost Juicy Fruit chewing gum note is dominant. There's a slight to medium amount of hop bitterness. The beer is very clean and the finish is sweet but not overly long. Very nice.

M: Moderate carbonation in the mouth complements a full, rich body.

O: A very enjoyable, fruity take on the pale ale style that is very moreish and easy drinking.

Cheers!

570ml pint on-draught @ Transit Bar, Canberra, Australia.

A bit insipid, with a slightly watery slightly coating slick mouth feel that does it no favors. Reminds me of those crappy "extra cold" draught variants you find in the UK.

Insipid for the style. Has a neutral shallow flavour profile I can't see any discerning drinker caring for.

Clear straw colour with a foamy white head. Fair head retention.

Moderate oregano aroma. Solid, crisp malt profile. Light sulphur. Not bad.

Lightly malty with a refreshing herbal edge from the oregano. Very nice.

Medium body with moderate carbonation. Very good.

A really solid session ale. Nice flavour that is both different and really works. Good flagship beer for the brewery.
