Wipers Times Tripel is a fruity, full-bodied top-fermented beer (8.2% alc. vol.). Like our Wipers Times Blond, our tripel is brewed with 4 grains, 4 spices and local hops only. We use malted barley and wheat, as well as flaked maize and oats, infusing the mash with 4 spices and the seeds of the milk thistle.
Wipers Times Tripel smells of delicious ripe, sweet fruit, such as mango, apricot or banana. Because this beer is finished with various spices, including coriander, orange peel and liquorice, the spicy overtone only adds to the flavour of this well-balanced beer. Wipers Times Tripel, a creamy full-bodied beer with gentle fruit notes.

Poured at fridge temp. Pours a murky yellowish brown with an abundance of head. However, the head on this one isn't quite as "fluffy" as most tripels that I've tried. Looks thicker and heavier. Also dissipated a bit faster than others and didn't hold its form quite the same. Interesting!
The nose is is definitely a tripel's nose! Banana, clove, orange, yeast, some wet grass,
The taste is very nice. Sweet candy, banana, slight caramel, orange, vanilla, clove, a touch of leather. This is good, but definitely not up there at the top of the tripel list.

From the small bottle, it pours a slightly hazy brown color with a modest, slowly diminishing off-white head that does leave lacing. The nose gets some grain, candied sugar and some fruit. The mouth follows with a deceptively easy drinking slightly malty with notes of candied sugar brew.
