Lets first start by saying that less then 2 years ago you couldn't even buy a beer in Somerset. My how you have come a long way baby.

Now we have a premier craft beer only tap house in Somerset. Let me define a little bit, no big three brews served here. The owners name is Bill and he can be found on primacies on a regular basis mixing with the locals and welcoming the newbies. But be warned if you come in looking for a Bud, Miller or Coors you will be lost here. He has made a strong dedication to craft based brews and pulled some heavy hitters along the way already. A small town tap house with the likes of Mirror Mirror, Alpha King, Nighttime, and Bourbon Barrel aged Mocha Stout from Highland to drop a few names.

The feel of this place is the perfect blend of Brewrieana, class and country charm. Really comfortable and yet inviting to anyone walking in for the first time. There is a nice secluded beer garden/patio in the back which offers a whole different scene for those who want to get away.

They do offer a few beers that some beer snobs will turn their noses up to but the selection is sure to please even the most demanding beer geek palate.

They offer 18 taps (with 2 more rumored to come soon) and 50 to 60 bottles at any time. They offer tasting flights and proper glassware on most all styles. Growlers are available for all beers on tap. Really a destination if you are in South Eastern KY with a bright future. Hope to see you there!

This is the first tap room to open in Somerset, KY. The citizens of Somerset, KY voted their town wet approximately two years ago with only one other town, neighboring Burnside, on Lake Cumberland being wet. While we've had a handful of liquor stores sell a decent craft selection, the "bars" and restaurants have primarily focused on the BMC crowd.

Opening night selections included beers such as Deschutes Mirror Mirror, two selections from Three Floyds, beers from Bell's, Highland, and two great breweries from Lexington (West Sixth and Country Boy).

Prices are a bit higher than you'll see in some bigger cities, especially on the coasts, but this is due more to being in KY than anything with Tap on Main.

They most recent beers tap include Highland's Barrel Aged Black Mocha Stout and Lagunitas NightTime.

So, solid selection and when it comes down to it they're currently the only game in town.
