This beer pours a light copper with a half finger bright white head. Retention is minimal and there is some spotted lacing.
Smell is sweet malt and a slight musty earthy flavor.
Taste is weird. Honestly reminds me of a strawberry milkshake. Strawberry lactose sugar and grainy malt.
Feel is light and smooth but lacking carbonation.
Overall ok. Not a beer I'd pay for again, but decent I guess.

Pours like an IPA. Smells sharp and weedy. Very malty, but no nodes of bread or caramel like what you'd expect in a British IPA. Odd, but not really off.
Tastes about the same as it smells: odd, not really my taste, but not bad. Weeds and grains dominate throughout with just a little bit of citrusy bitterness at the very back end.
An awfully strange beer, made all the more strange because it's seemingly designed to be this way? Like, it's not badly brewed, probably, so much as it's just brewed to an inexplicable style?

IMHO this is their best beer and the bar isn't raised by it. Being educated in brewing or attending school would certainly help here
