From the pint can, it pours a clear mahogany color with a nice off-white head that slowly reduces. The nose gets some lovely smoke scent, followed by a lightly bitter flavor with smoky notes.

This is a well balanced IPA. The cherrywood smoke is not overdone, and shows an incredible amount of finesse by the brewer. When freshly poured this beer has a nice 1/2 inch head and a red hue. Very unique, very enjoyable!

Pours a very pretty clear reddish amber with a nice sized persistent off white head. Smells like sweet toasty malt with citrusy floral hops and just a hint of smoke- I don't think I'd notice it if I didn't know it was a smoked IPA. Taste is like a hoppy amber ale. The hops are mostly in a pleasant bitterness. Nice toasty malt taste. Smoke in the finish. Very interesting- I'm not sure if it completely works but I'm enjoying it well enough. Nice for autumn. It's got a good drinkability, not too heavy for the style because the smoke is so light. Pretty good unique beer.

Really good. Get it in a glass if its in the can.. trust me.. changes it from a smoke bomb going off in your mouth to a really good beer thats not too strong. It actually tastes like either caramelized bananas (or gouda cheese as someone mentioned, but a beer none the less) both in a good way. Oh yeah and its smokey! like a sweet smoke . Very mature, prominent, respectable, flavorful and enjoyable.
