This was poured into a nonic pint glass. The appearance was a semi-dark ruddy burnt amber to dark orange, almost brown color. Slim finger’s worth of head. Sly lace. The aroma combines earthy to grassy bitter yet spicy hops overcoating some nutty and bready malts. The flavor is earthy and grassy through the hops. Spiciness of the hops comes back with the malts decently. Semi-sweet dry bready/biscuity malty aftertaste rubbing the finish the same way. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about it. Low carbonation feels fine. Overall, pretty good amber ale that I could have again.
