I grabbed a growler of this ($14) at the brewery on 10FEB19. Giving it a shot today out on the back deck, 35°F temps be damned!
Filled my trusty Smutty snifter with a full, hard pour. Color is a muted, hazy yellow, with scant carbo. Head is a healthy, fluffy dollop of whipped cream, slowly ebbing back, with A-1 lacing. Nose has lots of pithy citrus, pineapple and rindy grapefruit abounding. Body is a good medium, with a minimal prickle factor.
Taste has a touch of crackery, bready malt at kickoff. That doesn't last long, and it's hop city thereafter. Again, there's more pithy grapefruit, pineapple, rindy orange peel, and a smidge of mango. The citrus lingers nicely in the slightly dry finish. Solid and tasty! Well done, Able! Prosit!!
