Can from the Lazy Dog, can calls this Ingenuity #5
Pours a hazy lightly oxidized dark yellow in color with a decent sized off white head that slowly recedes. Bready citrus and light pine with plenty of butterscotch.

From the 16 oz. can with a December 2019 canning date. Sampled on Dec 22, 2019.
The appearance is a hazy looking yellow color with a soft white head.
This is a NEIPA and you would think that you would get citrus, tropical fruit, and so on. Well, you do, but there is also this notable vanilla character, which is highly unusual for an IPA, and more present sensation.
The mouthfeel is smooth and medium.
The taste also has this sweet vanilla flavor more than citrus or tropics. The bitterness is moderate at the finish.
