Bold in flavor, this beer is brewed with lactose and a variety of European malts that give this stout a rich chocolate flavor.
“The common man is not concerned about the passage of time, the man of talent is driven by it.” - Arthur Schopenhauer
To craft any new beer recipe, time is spent brewing small batches and waiting weeks for them to be done only to try the final sample and say, “not good enough.”
In life, we often find the same thing happening. It is commonplace to view time simply as an abundant resource that you can grind through to achieve an end goal. We might dedicate a substantial amount of time working on something only to get to the end and not feel satisfied; as though that time was wasted. However, if the time spent on a particular task was fulfilling in the moment, how could that be considered a waste? Realizing that our time is precious serves as motivation to make sure we spend it on things that we value.
Countless hours over the years have been put into the development of this beer, but we enjoyed every minute of it. So think about the time you have every day and, no matter how trivial, spend it doing what makes you happy.

16 oz can.
Pours a dark cola brown color with a creamy mocha head. Good head retention. Leaves a halo of lacing around the top of the glass. Nice looking milk stout.
The aroma is quite robust and nutty. Roasted peanuts, milk chocolate and char with a bit of coffee and dark roasted grains. Pretty good aroma.
The flavor brings a lot of chocolate and coffee up front, followed by vanilla, a bit of caramel, and roasted grains. There's a nice char character on the finish.
The feel is medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Creamy and smooth. Easy to drink.
Overall, I'd say this is a very good milk stout. It's not overly sweet, and is quite drinkable. I'm impressed.

Can from Bert's Inky black color with a decent sized mocha head that persists. Cocoa roast and earthy hops on the nose. Flavor is licorice and burnt grains as well as bitter chocolate and roasted coffee. The lactose helps keep things a little sweet but the burnt is a bit distracting for me.
