Pours golden with white head. Perfumey grapefruit seed oil on the nose. It's got a lot of that catty Citra character, some grapefruit, but it's light bodied. Not the best expression of Citra I've had, but well made nonetheless.

Appearance: Arrives clear and amber colored with a one finger head; a few shards
Smell: Caramel and green onion and piney hop tones
Taste: The hops and the malt blend together bringing caramel and green onion and pine flavors together from start to finish; there is a fruity character, too, almost like an ESB
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: A nice straightforward example of the style if a little retro

On tap at Ardent.
Pours a clear light amber with fine, soapy foam.
Smell is slightly dank with plenty of citrus along with a little bit of pine and mango.
Taste is clean and simple, quite citrus forward. Nice, biscuity malt base easily carries the moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a good, solid IPA. Nothing fancy, but tasty.

5oz pour at brewery in taster glass
L: Dark golden, get clear. Persistent heat, good lacing.
S: Light aroma, mostly citrus, a touch of tropical fruit
T: Follows the aroma, but a little spice or bite beneath it.
F: Crisp and dry finish, but a little thin
O: It's an IPA with Citra hops, so you know what you're getting. That's not meant to be critical - it's a fairly standard offering that highlights the light citrus hops.

Malt, citrus and hops come together quite well in this semi- deep colored brew with a finger of fizzy head. Taste is lemony, citrus and a good balance of complex malts. Finish is full of citrus and a great IPA

Poured a clear, copper orange body with minimal head and lace ring. The aroma is mild and citrusy with a pronounced bitterness. Dry beer with a bitter hoppiness and a touch of sweetness and then clean finish. Nothing bad, nothing special.

Citra edition? Solid but not distinctive is my top line summary. Dehydrated urine color (yep). Minimal head, no lacing. Smell had a distinct citra element - cat box squirted with orange and lemon juice. But little depth. Flavor is flatter. Mouth feel medium, blast of bitterness in the finish.
