Bottle:
Pours a very pale, near white gold. Medium bubbles form a white cap, but visibly, almost audibly disappear to a bald surface. Slight but noticeable haze.
Nose has a wheat base, clean but not quite bready. A tangy tartness from souring agent doesn't scream out but works nicely upon the base.
(Revisit 2019: definitely more acidic note, but with some mineral note as well, slight “lemon Pledge” aspect, but not so bad)
Very clean opening where the lemony tartness hits with a fairly strong cabonation to wake up the palate. The tartness fades to a weak sour grape note, allowing a grainy bread-like flavor to surface. Light tingling sensation from a lingering tartness.
Enjoyable light, sour offering. It's moderately tart, and would be even more refreshing to me if the carbonation were a tad more tame.
