Can colors are sort of inverse to the regular IPA X where this can is white with all red lettering. Pours quite pale, a golden straw, with a super lacy/webby head. Nose is birght fresh hops...they actually got the double dry hop right on this one. Leans tropical but not as strong a yeast character as with some of the NEIPAs. Taste is pineapple and mixed tropical fruit, but seems really fresh here. Mouthfeel is a little watery. Definite improvement over the regular base beer. Only downside is this is super-premium priced at $17.99 for the 16oz 4 pack. Overall, damn good but you pay for it.
