Hazy yellow with a modest at best build up of head. Nose is a mix of grass and a little green grape skin with a little damp grain. The taste has a light amount of lemon in the mix with a somewhat biscuity flavor with a wisp of the damp grain. The feel is soft with a firm effervescence; it's a little heavier than I expect for this lighter lager category, but it is to my liking. It's coming across as a decent craft American lager with a slight grassy bitter lean, again to my liking.

Pours a pale golden straw, some floral noble hop aroma in the form of jasmine flowers. There's certainly that jasmine flower flavor there as well as some rice grain and lime zest. I don't know if this feels as dry as other rice lagers, but it is full flavored for 4.4%. I think that rice lagers have a distinct flavor and while I do get some ricey notes from this, I don't get rice lager notes that I am more familiar with. It kind of leans more the way of the AAL. That's not a bad thing. It's got more body and it's less lean than what you'd expect but it's still delicious.
