Modest head but it sticks around. After the initial ring of lace, there are a couple of very small spots. The liquid is gold with a decent amount of haze.
Strong, pale malted barley nose. I also catch a lot of warming alcohol. Low, but present, hop in the background.
The liquid is true to the trippel style--very rich body (although not sugary, flavor wise) with a muted level of carbonation. The flavor starts with the barley, but it quickly succumbs to the hop flavors. These are nicely blended into the beer. The swallow brings out the alcohol that warms the tongue and the back of the throat. Overall, a pleasant entry for the style.

Bottle: Poured a hazy bright yellow color ale with large off-white foamy head with excellent retention and some lacing. Aroma of cereal notes with light residuals sugar notes with some citrusy hops is pretty enticing. Taste is a mix of cereal notes, some residual sugar with some light floral citrusy notes and light fruity ester. Hops notes are not as dominant as I was expecting. Body is full with great carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Missing a little something but still a very enjoyable beer.

Smell of yeast, lemon, pepper.
In mouth, it's very dry. High carbonation removes sensations on tongue. First sips are dominated by alcohol presence who brings an astringency. Followed by pepper, spices and lemon zest. When warmer, sweet grapefruit appears. More fruity actually but i'm still searching the hops who are supposed to bring a citrus side.
Biiterness is quite long, dry with a hint of lemon.
More drinkable and tastefull when warmer (10-12C, 50-54F) but there's still a lack of flavors.
