Pours slightly hazy straw with a dummy finger of head. Okay retention; decent lacing. The aroma is immediately that of lemon zest and some grapefruit pith with spicy, grainy underbelly. The taste is along the same lines but as it warms both beer slightly into lemon pledge territory. It is dry, fizzy and quenching. Kind of reminds me of an Arnold Palmer. Not a bad beer all told. Decent amount of flavor/body for the ABV. Could be solid with a couple little tweaks to the lemon flavor to balance everything out better.

Bottle: Poured a pale yellow color ale with a giant pure white foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of light lemon notes with light rustic malt notes is tamer than I was expecting. Taste a good mix of rustic malt with strong peppery yeast notes with subtle lemon notes. Body is light with great carbonation. Quite enjoyable even though it is missing a little bit of balance between the different flavours.
