The descriptors by other reviewers say pretty much what I feel about this beer. It is a good beer by a new upstart micro. The story behind the name is worth exploring. Ezilda's Ghost. It's a great local folklore tale that has been sung about in a local French country/rock band called Les Chiens Sales (the dirty dogs). Do a search on these terms and rock on! The beer is good too.

Some citrus. Tad hoppy. An odd sweetness.

Bottle: Poured a deep bright amber color ale with a nice huge bubbly head with OK retention and not much lacing. Aroma of grainy malt with light lemon notes is not very promising. Taste is also dominated by lemon notes with some grainy unrefined malt backbone and very little else to report. Body is average with good carbonation. I know the brewery is relatively new so I will have to try this again but this is not very promising.
