Appearance:
Light golden straw, very clear heavily carbonated . Looks more like a Pale Euro Lager than an adjunct Aussie lager.
Smell:
Pale biscuit malt, floral hops, light citrus light grain. Smells inoffensive, and cleaner than your mass produced adjunct lagers.
Taste: smooth maltiness with a faint bitterness. A lot cleaner and somewhat crisper than your Aussie adjuncts. Drinks a lot more like your Pale Euro lagers.
Mouthfeel: Thin, a bit watery. At 4.2% to be expected. Good on the refreshment value.
Overall: For a lager, it's not terrible. Certainly a lot more drinkable than any mass produced Aussie lager on the market. Actually my favourite out of all the John Boston range.
