B U E N Í S I M A!

12 oz. bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Clear deep amber body. Small off-white head and a medium collar.
Smell - Musty hop aroma. Not really distinct. Some rye comes out. A little perfumey.
Taste - Hops up front. Lightly grapefruity, but that same sort of perfumey grassy flavor from the aroma is more prevalent. Rye comes second. Pretty strong rye flavor. Finishes with a bready malt and quite a bit of bitterness.
Mouthfeel - Aggressively bitter and maybe just a touch to bitter. Medium body.
Overall - Much better than the Chivoperro. No off flavors and while it's a little unbalanced, I rather enjoyed it.

A really fantastic red ale. Its closer to a red IPA because its pretty hoppy but the light abv (5.5%) keeps it phenomenally drinkable. Its everything a standard red ale should be with a kick of resinous hops.
It was also the freshest beer in Panama. Loaded with clean flavor
