12 oz. bottle poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Clear deep golden body. Nice white head with a wispy surface and medium collar.

Smell - Smells very sweet. Grapefruit hops. A little boozy and fruity. Lots of caramel malt.

Taste - Grapefruit hops. Lots of caramel malt. Hefty sweetness. A little bit bitter in the back end, but mostly sweet. Boozy and kinda toasty in the finish.

Mouthfeel - Medium heavy. Medium carbonation.

Overall - So this isn't my style. Way too sweet for a DIPA for me, but it's definitely a good beer. Very clean and well made.

I had 6 of these, they sold quickly. Hope they brew it again, or even better make it a year-round beer.
