I was served a 22 oz glass of this beer with a delicious meal at our local Outback Steakhouse. Not bad but completely unremarkable. Nevertheless it was perhaps the best beer on their menu.

It's not as bad as its reputation or its UK-brewed equivalent 3-4% lagers like Carling, Carlsberg or bud light. ABV appears to be lowered to 3.7% recently. Only had as dented can being sold off in the bargain bin. Actually looks the part poured into pilsner glass, stronger amber hue than most equivalent lagers. Aroma is mild. Has a decent malty crisp taste and moderate carbonation, lower than average for a lager. Almost German pilsner-esque initially. Slight metallic cheap taste on the back end ruins the initial promising crispness. It's ok, there are worse beers out there if you just want something easy on a warm sunny afternoon, would be nice as a top.

No taste. Clean yellow color with minimal lacing that disappears. Carbonation is weak. Maybe I hot a bad can. I'll try the other to see. Nope. Equal to a light beer.

A - Pours a light golden colour with about a finger head that fades to nice lacing. Nice carbonation bubbles aswell.
S - Corn and bread. The standard macro smell. Clean though.
T - On the clean side with tastes of corn, bread and malt. A little bit metallic which I'm not a fan of.
M - Medium to high carbonation with a moderate body. Finishes a little bit dry with a fairly good aftertaste.
O - A fairly balanced beer that is very drinkable and in my opinion, one of the best Aussie macros there is.

It pours with a very large, bubbly head that dissipates quickly. The aroma is very metallic. The taste very thin, watery, mild hay coming through with the finish.
